Straw Cup

Emerson has started the process of learning how to drink from a "big girl" cup. We learned about a SIP TIP cup from a Down Syndrome Clinic we attended a few months ago.
The cup has a special valve in it that allows the water to stay in the straw once it is sucked. The special mouth piece keeps Emerson's tongue inside her mouth while she takes a drink. We've been advised to use this cup rather than a sippy cup to build up tongue muscles for future eating!

Emerson is still learning. She's not sure why this water stuff doesn't taste like milk!?!?!

Suck

Swallow

Wanting some more!

Emerson's first boat ride in Daddy's boat. She was so excited, she fell asleep.

Good job doing your chores. It looks like you enjoy doing the laundry.

It must have been so exciting to have Emerson with you on the boat. When is she entering her first Redfish Spot tournament? --Court and Ty
