Braggin' Rights

Emerson was choosen to be photographed for this years Buddy Walk. They are making 3 ft by 12 ft posters of the photographs to be displayed around Lake Eola. We just got some of the pictures back from the photographer and I had to brag! Her little face brightens my whole world!

BALLS...BALLS....BALLS

It is just too hot outside these days so we moved E's pool inside! Emerson now has her own ballpit in our family room. She seems to be having a blast rolling around and being silly. She's so much fun to watch!

How do you pick up a new man at playgroup??

Answer: Tell him that his feet taste good.

I think Emerson has a thing for feet!?

Mommy's Weekend Away

I know I normally post about Emerson's activities BUT I had to add these photos. I've always heard that you are a better parent if you are able to get away and relax every now and then. This past weekend, I traveled back up to Tallahassee for my high school reunion. Travis was super dad and watched Emerson all weekend in Orlando! I was able to hang out with the old gang and enjoy some much needed girl time! My first time away went extremely well....even with Emerson getting her first tooth! :-)

Happy 4th of July

Getting Emerson to sit still for our photo shoots on the chair are almost over! She would rather be moving and grooving!!
We hope that your family had a beautiful holiday!

New FUN!

This past weekend we were at a friends 4th of July party and they had this GREAT pool toy! Emerson had a great time riding around in her personal canoe. She even allowed some friends to join her. I think I know what the birthday fairy will be getting Emerson this September 27th!!

Self Feeder :-)

Emerson has reached another HUGE milestone in her development! She is feeding herself!!! She actually started about a week ago, but we have been so busy and sick that I haven't had an opportunity to post. She started by picking up one Puff (baby snack) at a time. She is now cramming handfuls of Puffs into her mouth at once. It's so funny that once they figure out a skill, it seems so natural to them.
Our pretty little baby is growing up!!
