Emerson is on track to be released tomorrow. She still has chest x-rays today and tomorrow and an echocardiogram later today. We will learn how to do "chest poundings" to give her respiratory therapy at home. She is eating more and the oxygen has been turned off. A central line and the oxygen tube will be removed today also. It will be so nice not to have tubes!!! And even better to have her out of the ICU.
Thank you for all your interest in and support of Emerson. We hope all our Seminole County teacher friends are having a happy spring break :)

Way to go Emerson! I am hopeful the tubes will come out and all tests will be free and clear for a tomorrow departure! You are a trooper kid! Mom and Dad too. :)
Yahoo Emerson, get those tubes off so Mommy can hug and snuggle with you.
I can't wait to hear that she's back home! Yeah Emerson =)

Yeah Emerson!! I knew you were a champ :) I can't wait to visit you after you get all settled in. I know mommy and daddy are excited to have their little girl back home!
Wow Emerson looks like such a big girl in that big bed. I am so glad to hear that Emersone is doing well. I looks as if she will be home in time for the Easter Bunny! YEAH!!!
What a Super Girl!!! Continue to stay strong. Glad to hear once again that all is going as foreseen. Her sparkling personality just beams in the pictures you have posted. Thank you sharing her smile!!!
Love, Court & Ty
Emerson you are such a strong little girl, and so are mommy and daddy! I know you will continue to get better everyday, and will go home tomorrow!! When you and Avery get older, you will have to share NICU/ICU stories and the fun lung treatments too! We are thinking about you and mommy & daddy!
